Inglewood Councilman Ralph Franklin was elected to the City Council on September 16, 2003, and is one of the longest serving council members on the dais. Franklin has presided over both the rise and fall of the city.
The city declared a fiscal emergency under Franklin, which closed the Morningside Park Library, the Fire Station on Centinela and nearly had us in bankruptcy. Franklin, however, has a stock and property portfolio worth MILLIONS!

He owns four properties outright in the states of Arizona, California and Florida. Mysteriously, he lists their value at no more than $100k except for his home in Inglewood which ranges from $100k-$1 million.
He earns approx $70k as a member of the city council. Why couldn’t taxpayer funds be handled so prudently?
