The political community is sending a strong message that new leadership is needed in the city of Compton and that Michelle Chambers is their preferred choice.
At the endorsement meeting for the New Frontier Democratic Club, they selected Michelle Chambers over the incumbent Janna Zurita, which speaks volumes of the bodies desire to get the city headed in a more positive direction.
“I am honored and thankful to receive the endorsement of the oldest democratic Club in the state of California,” said Chambers.
Some Compton residents were also in attendance and voiced their support of Chambers and her ability to lead the city upward and onward.
“Thank you to all of the New Frontier Democratic Club members who supported me, in trusting in my ability to lead and standing with the residents of Compton’s District 1, on electing effective, experienced and respectful leadership.”
