Clippers will give back across Los Angeles at five community events culminating in Inglewood, CA
The L.A. Clippers Foundation will celebrate the opening of newly renovated Clippers Community Courts basketball courts at Crozier Middle School, conduct a basketball clinic and distribute gifts to students as they begin their holiday break. These new basketball courts in Inglewood are in addition to the 350 Clippers Community Courts the Clippers are renovating with L.A.’s Department of Recreation and Parks.
The L.A. Clippers Foundation works to inspire children through the game of basketball and utilize its unique position to provide resources and opportunities that make a positive difference toward leveling the playing field for youth in Southern California. Last season, more than 3,000 service and volunteer hours were given at 85 community events by Clippers Players, Coaches, Staff, Season Ticket Holders and Corporate Partners and the L.A. Clippers Foundation committed more than $13 million in grants and in-kind resources to the Greater Los Angeles area.
Clippers players Patrick Beverley, Danilo Gallinari, Montrezl Harrell, Luc Mbah a Moute and Tyrone Wallace are expected to participate at the event.
