2UrbanGirls continues to provide you up to date coverage of those who have pulled papers to run against Inglewood Mayor James Butts.

Inglewood residents met the news of Marc T. Little’ s pulling paperwork with mixed enthisiasm. Little is connected to the sale of the Forum to Madison Square Garden (MSG) and assisted with passing the initiative to bring the NFL to Inglewood.
His once cozy relationship with Mayor Butts soured after MSG was duped into turning over land they planned to build parking garages on.
After a series of unfortunate events surrounding the Inglewood Chamber of Commerce, Little filed a lawsuit against the Mayor, his executive assistant Melanie Mcdade and the city of Inglewood surrounding allegations of impropriety by the mayor via McDade.
Many will say Little has only filed the lawsuit to leverage his lawsuit into a quick settlement. 2UrbanGirls believes otherwise.
The time has come to look more closely at ways the city residents and employees will benefit from a candidate free of being beholden to corporate donors and select businesses allowed to not pay their share of city taxes. The time has come to reform the city’s Finance Department, create an atmosphere where employees are allowed to do their job without interference from the Mayor and restore confidence in our police department.
2UrbanGirls looks forward to using this blog to promote ideas on how to make the city better and free from bullying and corruption .

Marc Little, the individual, did not personally assist with bringing the NFL to Inglewood. The group pushing the initiative leased space from Faithful Central’s “Living Room” to launch the initiative only.
