Are city of Inglewood residents getting their money’s worth? The bathrooms at Centinela Park (700 N. Warren Lane) are beyond disgusting. A community member posted pictures in the Facebook group “Inglewood Live” depicting bathrooms not worthy of a city with a $5 billion dollar NFL stadium being a mere two miles away.
Parks & Recreation & Library Director Sabrina Barnes received a $18,305 bonus in January 2017 citing her exemplary work. As she promotes children’s programs in the newly renovated Playhouse and Amphitheatre, attendees should take extreme caution if they and/or their children use the city’s bathrooms closest to these venues. It is well-known by Inglewood residents that the bathrooms at Centinela Park are used as hookup sites for members of the LGBT community.
Calls to Ms. Barnes and her assistant Teresa Estrada have gone unreturned. Chairman of the Parks & Recreation Commission Willie Agee who is present at every council meeting, ihas been silent on issues in the park since the Mayor and Council renamed the parks Playhouse after him. He also could not be reached for comment.

Is THIS safe and sanitary for the thousands of children who play in the city’s park on a daily basis?
**update July 24, 2022**
“Why when I was walking my dog at Ed Vincent park around 7pm— I went to the restroom and a man was literally smoking crack in the stall?” said an Inglewood resident who wished to remain anonymous.
The park will be the site of a two day Jazz Festival August 6 and 7.
