Lawndale Mayor Robert Pullen-Miles has dropped out of the Board of Equalization (BOE) race to replace soon to be termed out Jerome Horton.

Jerome Horton currently represents seat three. Due to excessive spending and allegations of missappropriation of public funds, state legislators recently gutted the responsibilities of the BOE, leaving them with little to no authority over nearly $60 billion in annual taxes.
Reached via text, Pullen-Miles tells 2 Urban Girls he is opting to focus on his upcoming re-election next year.
