The caged bird won’t SING. Former Compton Deputy City Treauserer Salvador Galvan has agreed to cop a plea with the United States of America. So did Galvan’s wife Rosa Galvan, who terminated her employment with the city of Compton the day her husband was arrested.
As opposed to pleading “guilty” he has decided to take the plea he signed April 27th and which was subsequently filed by the U.S. Government. The plea includes jail time, forfeiting assets but most importantly, doesn’t mention requiring Galvan to name anyone else.
What a shame. Compton taxpayers will not recoup the nearly $4 million dollars he stole and his possible co-conspirator is still roaming the streets a free person.
