In Compton residents have inundated this blog with comments regarding the race between Sen. Isadore Hall and Nanette Barragán. Latest vote counts posted to the LA County recorders office on November 28, show Barragán’s lead over Hall has increased to nearly 6,000 votes. Hall has yet to publicly comment on the results and/or concede the race.

Many complained their mind was made up after Hall closed long time offices in Compton and Inglewood City Hall in favor of San Pedro.
Residents reject the notion of Hall becoming a city hall employee.
Residents are hopeful Congresswoman-elect Barragán reopens the congressional office in Compton City Hall. Janice Hahn closed it under mysterious circumstances. City Hall staff confirmed rent for the office space is $1.00 per year.
Speaking of soon to be Supervisor Hahn, she has apparently decided to start fresh when she assumes her new role. Sources within her office say everyone is looking for work.
Residents also ponder the fate of Asm. Mike Gipson. He has managed to piggy back on Hall during election time, sharing office space and.consultants. Will he be vulnerable in 2018?
Finally, why does Reggie Jones-Sawyer enjoy the comfort of two election cycles with no challengers?
