LOS ANGELES, CA,- Basketball legend Kobe Bryant and Omaze in partnership with Kobe’s foundation, After-School All-Stars, Los Angeles, and Positive Coaching Alliance, announced a new fundraising campaign to benefit these three causes personally selected by Kobe to support youth programs in the Los Angeles area.
Through Omaze, Kobe fans around the world have a chance to sit front-row at Kobe’s final Lakers home game before his retirement, and high-five him and his teammates as they take center court on April 13 in Los Angeles.
For as little as a $10 donation through Omaze, Kobe fans can enter for the chance to attend one of the biggest nights in basketball history. Funds raised will equally benefit: The Kobe & Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation, After-School All-Stars, Los Angeles and Los Angeles and Positive Coaching Alliance.
“After 20 years as a Laker, April 13 will be a memorable night for me, the team and the fans,” said Kobe Bryant. “We are creating an epic experience to benefit three great organizations who bring after school programs and positive coaching to kids in LA.”
“Kobe is the defining player of his generation,” said Matt Pohlson, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Omaze. “We’ve been honored to be part of so many great experiences at Omaze, but providing the opportunity for two fans to watch NBA history from the front row, and high five Kobe as he runs out on the floor for the final time is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. As a life-long Laker fan, I’m honored the Omaze community and Laker Nation will be able to harness this moment and our platform to support three phenomenal organizations – Positive Coaching Alliance, After-School All-Stars and the Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation – to deliver lasting impact for hundreds of people in the LA area.”
The Grand Prize includes:
- Two front row center court tickets to Kobe Bryant’s last home game on April 13.
- High-five from Kobe Bryant and his fellow Lakers teammates.
The campaign closes on April 8 at 12:00PM PDT.
