Inglewood residents were saddened by the sudden loss of former Inglewood councilman Mike Stevens.  Mike was well liked beyond the city of Inglewood.  He made a huge impact for residents fighting the LAX airport expansion and it allowed him to easily transition to the Inglewood city council.  Although he only served one term, he brought the same enthusiasm and community spirit to the dais. He also has a guest appearance in a documentary detailing the years of service of former LA councilman Bernard Parks.

The public is invited to services this Saturday, January 16, 2016, at the Church of Religious Science located at 525 N. Market St.
