It was an interesting endorsement meeting yesterday, for the San Pedro Democratic Club. While candidates for the 44th Congressional District assembled for the crucial endorsement, to the surprise of those in attendance, one candidate simultaneously dropped out of the race. Sen. Isadore Hall successfully captured the endorsement with over 70% of the votes casted by members.

“The San Pedro Democratic Club is pleased to announce our enthusiastic support of State Senator Isadore Hall for Congress. As our incumbent Senator, he’s been a tireless leader on behalf of San Pedro, whether it’s Port issues, environmental protections, creating more good jobs, safeguarding workers’ rights, or pursuing a progressive agenda that lifts up all communities in our state. We are thrilled to have him as our next Congress member.”
