Compton Unified School District (CUSD) will hold a public hearing on Friday, October 9th, at 5pm, in the district’s board room. Funding for textbooks are made possible by CA Lottery ticket purchases. Passage of Proposition 20 mandated that restricted funds are to only be spent on textbooks. Be sure to come out and voice your concerns. The textbooks used in the classroom, do not always mirror the textbooks brought home by your student.
