The audit will focus on potential fraud and black market criminal violations
Sacramento – Assemblywoman Melissa A. Melendez, R-Lake Elsinore, has officially requested to the Joint Legislative Audit Committee a state audit of Planned Parenthood.

The audit will focus on Planned Parenthood’s financial stake in alleged black market, human tissue ventures and to what extent have patients’ consent has been corrupted via fraudulent inducement by Planned Parenthood staff during pre-abortion consults.
“Planned Parenthood is running its own body part chop shop,” Melendez said. “The taxpayers shouldn’t be on the hook for this illegal activity.”
Independent investigations have recently brought to light evidence that Planned Parenthood, in violation of federal law, has engaged in the sale of human tissue that was taken from patients who have received an abortion from Planned Parenthood.  The illegal profits made off of human tissue from an abortion procedure, represents a plain financial motive that violates the Hippocratic Oath.
“Planned Parenthood is subsidized with millions of taxpayers’ dollars each year, and should be held accountable and defunded for involving the California taxpayers in their black market human tissue schemes,” said Melendez.
Assemblywoman Melissa A. Melendez serves as Vice-Chair of both Budget and Public Safety Committees in the Assembly, is a proud Navy veteran, and is a vigilant consumer privacy advocate. She represents the 67th Assembly District, which includes the communities of Lake Elsinore, Canyon Lake, Murrieta, Menifee, Wildomar and a portion of Hemet. It also includes the Riverside County unincorporated areas of Lake Mathews, Good Hope, Nuevo, and Winchester. Follow her on Twitter: @asmMelendez

    Republican Track Record:

    Benghazi: FAIL
    Government Shutdown: FAIL
    Obamacare: FAIL
    Gay Marriage: FAIL

And now, eliminating Planned Parenthood: FAIL –

Melendez is ambitious. What I don’t understand is why her constituents vote for her when she’s not likely looking out for their best interests. That census data linked above shows that as of 2000 census, 54.3% of adults 25 and over only had a high school degree or GED. Given the crummy economy, I doubt that statistic has gotten any better. I can’t imagine what their household income levels are. What’s in the Kool Aid they’re drinking out there?

Maybe only the Republicans bother to vote! If that’s the case, those who couldn’t be bothered to vote get the government they deserve.

Two days after “Throwback Thursday”, does anyone remember when Republican Assemblywoman Melissa Melendez labeled Islamics “savages”?

    I didn’t think so…….

She was specifically speaking of those who murdered an American. I like her statement, she clarified very well.

I wonder if she calls those who killed Americans Michael Brown, Eric Garner, John Crawford, Ezell Ford, Tamir Rice, Walter Scott and Samuel DuBose “savages” too.

Silly me, what was I thinking? Her Republican supporters won’t donate money if she does that! Those killers of Americans look like her constituents out in Lake Elsinore which is 63% white and 4.8% black. http://www.lake-elsinore.org/index.aspx?page=999

The “savages” meme is only effective when you’re slamming foreigners I guess
