Carson city council appears to be led by Mayor Jim Dear and his colleague, Councilman Albert Robles. The pair came under fire a few weeks ago when Robles entered a motion, which was seconded by Dear, to ban the city from financially supporting the Daily Breeze and went so far as to tell residents not to read the paper either. Well the two are back at it again. Firing the city manager. Again.

The Daily Breeze is reporting this is the 3rd city manager to be fired from council. The first was David Biggs, who was able to work between the South Bay Cities Council of Governments and the City of Redondo Beach, when he got relieved of duties. Then Sam Ghaly was hired, and then fired, within a month of his hiring.
