In an ongoing effort to keep abreast of sound proof insulation applications submitted by Inglewood Unified School District to Los Angeles World Airports, the Urban Girl has remained in contact with the Public Relations department. Â The last updated we provided was in September 2013.
Georgiana Streeter provided the following update:
We’ve been told by the FAA that we should expect a determination from them regarding the Inglewood application at the end of September. We are hopeful that the majority of schools will be approved for sound insulation, but we don’t have any information yet on specific funding levels.
