U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu‘s Louisiana residency lawsuit was dismissed today by a Baton Rouge state court judge. State Rep. Paul Hollis, R-Covington filed the lawsuit stating that Landrieu lived in Washington D.C. and not Louisiana.

Judge Wilson Fields cited the U.S. Constitution stating residency only matters the day of the election.
Will this law also apply to elected officials, currently embattled in L.A. County cases, regarding their residency?
