Inglewood Mayor James T. Butts and Council Members are pleased to announce the launch and roll out of five (5) Big Belly Solar Intelligent Waste & Recycling Collection Units and Food Truck Fridays have returned.The Big Belly Solar Intelligent Waste and Recycling Collection Unit is a solar-powered trash compactor and companion recycling unit with wireless notification technology used to collect trash and recyclables in public spaces. Five (5) units will be placed throughout the City of Inglewood.
“With cities pressed by spending cuts and a desire to promote environmental friendly policies and practices, Inglewood is proud to roll out these high-tech waste and recycle collection units,” said Inglewood Mayor James Butts. “These units not only promote an effective innovative way to keep our city clean, but to efficiently collect waste and recyclables in our public spaces.”

Food Trucks on Market Street are Back!
