Los Cerritos News (HMG_CN) is reporting the investigation into the City of Compton is heating up. Citing a July 31, 2014 letter, from L.A. County Dist. Atty. Jackie Lacey, she is requesting agendas, council meetings and elected related forms, dating back to 2004. She specifically states to city clerk Alita Godwin to NOT redact signatures.

The letter in question is looking into every sitting council person. Yvonne Arceneaux, Aja Brown, Craig Cornwell, Issac Galvan, Dr. Willie Jones, Douglas Sanders, Janna Zurita and the city clerk herself, Alita Godwin.
2UrbanGirls has shared the district attorney is looking into possible voter fraud related to the April 2013 election. The case of Jasper Jackson v. Alita Godwin is headed to court Sept. 23rd.
