It is with great pleasure that I cordially invite the 2UrbanGirls readers to the Watts Community Fun Day & Car Show, hosted by Fire Station #65, in partnership with Nuevo South and other community organizations. This street fair event takes place on Saturday, August 9, 2014 beginning at 8 am and concluding at 3 pm at the Fire Station located at 1801 E. Century Boulevard.
There will also be a FREE pancake breakfast from 8am – 9am on a first come, first served basis.
The purpose of the event is to open up the Fire Station and connect with the community as well as honor community leaders. There will be many free festivities, a car show, dance contest, face painting, jumpers and much more.
This is an annual event that brings out the community and is a fun event for families to enjoy. We are also being told the organizers will recognize 64th Assembly candidate, Prophet Walker, at the event too. Also be on the lookout for the Eastside Riders Bike Club!
