Taxpayers may recall that Measure R was designed to repair our decrepit roads. Take a look ride through your neighborhood. Did you get your moneys worth? Inglewood residents didn’t. Two of our cities three main thoroughfares: Imperial Hwy and Century Blvd are horrible on your tires and Inglewood denies all claims.
A review of Metro’s Measure R website did not yield a link to the LACMTA Consolidated Audit FY 2011 Schedule of Findings and Questioned Costs.
The City of LA allocated their Measure R monies to the Leimert Park Station for the Crenshaw/LAX rail line stop and who knows where Inglewood’s went.
No wonder we are seeing so many PR photos of potholes being filled? Don’t be fooled. Be prepared to vote NO on Measure R part deux.
