The Inglewood Today seems to not do too much fact checking prior to posting articles on their website and printing them in their paper. First they printed the wrong date of Councilmember George Dotson’s very 1st Town Hall Meeting. Then gets incorrect the amount of dates the Forum is booked? Here is an excerpt:
The clock is ticking until the lights come back on in the Forum and things are going better than expected. “(The Forum) has already booked 60 nights. They had originally looked at booking between 22 and 40 nights for the year. Interest has been fantastic,” Butts said. Justin Timberlake and Van Halen are among the acts scheduled beside the Eagles, who are opening. Hollywood Park is still on target to break ground in the Spring of 2014.
According to the Ticketmaster website, there are only TEN days booked through May 2014. Just to be sure, a review of the Forum’s website showed the same. Only FOUR acts booked and NO Van Halen…yet.
Please note that although the tickets aren’t for sale on the public site, that does not imply the dates aren’t blocked off on the Forums internal calendar.
