The city of Inglewood held its regular city council meeting Oct. 22 and on the agenda was approval of a contract with A-MAN, Inc. to provide shuttle service for their after school program located at 101 S. LaBrea Ave.
Why would kids need to be bussed to 101 S. LaBrea Ave, unless the kids being bussed in don’t attend Inglewood schools?
Why didn’t the city sponsor the use of IUSD buses for this activity? Is this a union issue? IUSD PTA groups can’t use outside bus services, they have to use the IUSD busses.
Coincidentally, a new church that is moving into Inglewood, expressed much excitement the next day, about their new “shuttle service” they are going to have for their congregation.
A search of the Secretary of State shows the “corporation”, A-MAN, Inc, as denoted by the Inc., does NOT exist in the State of California.
