Who Raises $100k for a Local Election

IMG_77381-300x200George Dotson is going all out to win a seat on the City Council to represent Inglewood in the 1st District.  Majority of his campaign coffer came from loans from his wife Ida and Mayor Butts.  It is key to note he has received no corporate sponsorship from any of the business community in Inglewood, small or large.  He also doesn’t have a great deal of financial support from his fellow neighbors.

George Dotson has managed to remain the Planning Commissioner serving under former Mayors Edward Vincent, Roosevelt Dorn, Danny Tabor and now Mayor Butts.  Over half the elected officials listed on his endorsement page haven’t invested in him either.

This is Dotson’s umpteenth time running and will be his umpteenth time losing.

Editors note: none of the top unions are supporting George Dotson on their endorsements page.
