Where you at Crenshaw High Parents

LAUSD Superintendent John Deasey walked the halls of Crenshaw High School last year and declared the school one of the worst in the district and in desperate need of reorganization.  Graduation rates were low.  Teachers were under fire, literally and many were asked not to return.

Since, LAUSD has made headlines for a $30 million dollar contract with Apple, to provide iPads to the thousands of students, especially those at schools deemed the “worst”.

LAUSD starting handing out the iPads to teachers yesterday and they will also receive 2 to 3 days of training on how to use the new technology.

In Inglewood USD, the technology they are giving out are laptops, but your student has to be at or below grade level.

Exactly when will Crenshaw High School students be receiving theirs and if they don’t, are you parents gonna get off your ass and complain or head out to Taco Tuesday?  Latinos are filing lawsuits all over the state of California to ensure their kids are taught properly, what are us blacks doing about it?
