St. Bernard High School proudly boasts a 100% college acceptance rate of students who applied to a 4 year institution.  The graduating class of 2015 did not disappoint!  96% of 65 seniors will be attending a 4-year or 2-year college this fall.

As of the first of June, 65 St. Bernard students have been accepted to over 167 colleges and universities and received over $1,500,000 in grants and scholarships.   The students from St. Bernard were all exceptionally strong in academics as well as were accomplished student leaders, athletic champions, ASB, cheer, drama and campus ministry.   St. Bernard Vice Principal, Rosie Roberts said, “The key to our students’ success is their desire to reach higher and go farther.  We just try to help them get there.  We are so very proud of our students. ”

Students have been accepted to University of Notre Dame, UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC Irvine, UC Davis, UC San Diego, UC Santa Barbara, USC, Howard, Gonzaga, LMU, Fordham, and St. John’s just to name a few.  This year’s class even surpassed the class of 2014 who received nearly $1,400,000 in academic and athletic scholarships.  Principal Dr. Hoepner said, “At St. Bernard, we always say that investing in an exceptional high school education can pay huge dividends.  The returns on investment of a SBHS diploma speak for themselves.  This is an indication of continued successful outcomes at St. Bernard!”
