“Shots Fired” Hosts Star-Studded L.A. Premiere

(LOS ANGELES) – March 17, 2017 – Last night, FOX screened the new series “Shots Fired” for over 300 VIPs at Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood. Show creators and executive producers Reggie Bythewood, Gina Prince-Bythewood and Francie Calfo were on hand along with cast members Sanaa Lathan, Stephan James, Mack Wilds, Stephen Moyer, Aisha Hinds, DeWanda Wise, Conor Leslie, Edwina Findley Dickerson and Yohance Myles.

The program opened with a welcome by KTTV anchor Christine Devine followed by an intro from Cassius Bythewood, son of Reggie and Gina Bythewood. After the screening, Pastor Toure Roberts (a consultant on “Shots Fired”) moderated a Q&A with the cast.

The day before, screened “Shots Fired” for hundreds of Googlers at the tech company’s Mountain View headquarters. This screening comes on the heels of‘s recently announced $11.5 million investment into organizations that are fighting for racial justiceGina Prince-Bythewood and Reggie Bythewood and cast members Mack Wilds and Aisha Hinds were in attendance and participated in a post-screening Q&A moderated by principal Justin Steele and featuring U.C. Berkeley professor Jack Glaser and law enforcement expert Ron Davis (21st Century Policing, LLC). Rapper and Bay Area native E-40 also attended.

#ShotsFired is a 10-part event mystery that examines the dangerous aftermath of two racially charged shootings by law enforcement in a small southern town. The series premieres March 22 at 8/7c on FOX, prior to the spring return of “Empire” at 9/8c.
