Say it ain’t so Pastor!

thSo as I am scrolling through my Twitter feed, I come across a tweet on community activist Najee Ali’s feed titled, “Pastor removed as sheriff’s aide after pot dispensary found“.  I found myself thinking “…please don’t let it be Bishop Turner”.

Bishop Edward Turner is a strong community advocate who would host his Doers Convention at LA Southwest College and the Power of Love Church, we he is the leader, would regularly close of Manchester Blvd, to give back to the community.

Unfortunately, when I clicked onto the LA Times link…it is Bishop Turner they are speaking of.

Why was the Bishop let go so abruptly, whereas a deputy, who shoots an unarmed man, is given more leeway?

The other problem with this story is the dispensary is still open. If it’s illegal, wouldn’t it be closed by now?
