USA Today reported back on November 25th, that local community activists met with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), weeks prior to the Ferguson Grand Jury decision, to discuss how to control the impending protests.

Activist Najee Ali met with police last week to discuss plans for a peaceful gathering in response to the Ferguson case. Plans included having community members identify agitators who incite violence so officers can remove them from the crowd, he said.

“It was kind of unprecedented,” Ali said of the meeting. “We never collaborate with the LAPD. They do what they do, and we do what we do.”

Los Angeles led the nation in arrests of citizens protesting the Ferguson decision, most notably, local media strategist, Jasmyne A. Cannick.

Najee Ali vehemently denies working with the LAPD to have protestors arrested.  Author of the USA Today article, Gary Strauss, who originally quoted Ali, has yet to respond to requests of whether Ali’s comment was taken out of context and/or misquoted.

Hutchinson and Ali are OBVIOUSLY based upon these recent and many past actions, police agents who are being used to corral and trap authentic activists and they should be treated and respected accordingly
