On Tuesday, November 4th, Inglewood residents went to the polls and overwhelmingly re-elected Mayor James T. Butts Jr. to his 2nd term as Mayor of the City of Inglewood.  Butts received nearly 84% of the vote, which was a historic feat.  His twitter slogans,#InglewoodRising and #InglewoodRises, are reminders to his followers that the city is on a major turnaround, from 2011, when he first came into office.  Mayor Butts spoke with the KDAY Community Show on his election, future development of the City of Inglewood and those pesky NFL rumors.

The St. Louis Business Journal, however, is skeptical on the St. Louis Rams heading back West, citing a similar ploy by the Minnesota Vikings to secure stadium financing in Minneapolis.  Whatever the case, Mayor Butts is more than happy to entertain the prospect of what NFL team, in the City of Inglewood, would mean for the residents.
