Latinos set to become Majority in California

untitledCurrently Latinos and Whites represent 39% of the state’s population.  By next year, Latinos will make up the majority in the state.

Does this mean that former Los Angeles mayor Antonio Villaraigosa stands a chance to be our next Governor or will we see the numbers increase of Latinos not eligible to vote?

State demographer report that Latinos and Whites represent an equal share of the population but that could end by next year or early next year.  I would warn Latinos to be careful, some cities are going out of their way to entrap you and deport as many Latinos as possible.  You see whats going on in Compton?  Residents face intimidation and threats of deportation if they complain about their civil rights being violated.  However, if one is here illegally, how do they have the same rights as U.S. citizens?

Immigration reform and language immersion needs to happen sooner than later, the ACLU will see to that!
