Our District Attorney, Jackie Lacey, has filed charges against 4 Irwindale officials who are both currently serving and are former elected.  The individuals are charged with embezzlement of city funds to the tune of nearly a quarter million dollars.

Looks like lessons learned from previous cases that were tossed out, these charges just may stick.  These four tried to be slick.  Instead of billing the city directly, they allowed a third party to foot the ball, then get reimbursed by the city according to the press release on the DA’s website.
