#WhatDoWeTellOurSons about being in the wrong place at the wrong time?  Damon Forcey was called home to the Lord on May 26th, 2013.  Damon was the V.P. of Community Affairs for Black Barbershop’s.  Damon was instrumental in the program screening over 30,000 black men for diabetes and high blood pressure in over 43 cities in over 675 black owned barbershops across the country.

Just think, if you had a screening in a black barbershop, it is because of Damon.  You can browse pictures from the last event Damon attended, the Los Angeles Black Business Expo back in May, where screenings were a huge success.

Damon was killed and his murder remains unsolved.  He was 37 years young.

Damon was a good guy who gave back to his community and always with a smile on his face.  Always a pleasure to be around, funny and he will be greatly missed!

Why him?
