Will Gloria D. Gray drop out of Assembly race

As we edge closer to the election for the 62nd Assembly race, it’s not looking good for Gloria D. Gray.  After a scathing edition of this weeks Soulvine column, many are speculating will she remain in the race?

Having raised a dismal $11k and with many elected officials publicly supporting Autumn Burke along with L.A. county supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas’ putting her on blast that he didn’t think she could defeat Betsy Butler, but Betty Pleasant makes a valid point that Ms. Butler is no longer in the race so why no love for Ms. Gray?

Ms. Gray will now be left to decide whether to continue with the race or step down and run to keep her West Basin seat.  Will the law allow for her to appear on both the ballot for state assembly and water board?  Stay tuned…
