Daily Breeze calls the Carson City Clerk ’emotionally fragile’
Former City of Carson mayor, turned city clerk, Jim Dear, has been acting quite peculiar. His recent performance at the June 16, 2015, council meeting, found Dear on multiple news channels and he appeared to have something wrong with him. He threatened to sue the city over his failure to perform key city clerk duties. As Dear was being interviewed, he appeared to have an obvious twitch and now the Daily Breeze is calling him “emotionally fragile”. It leads 2UG to wonder is he ill?
2UG has written multiple articles on his behavior and the Daily Breeze editorial board recently published an editorial which asked the Carson Mayor Albert Robles to stop “antagonizing” Dear. Antagonize? All because the city council wanted the ballots counted in a timely manner?
Dear admitted to the editorial board he wanted the city clerk job for a raise, pension and less stress. Too bad he doesn’t realize he is the contributing factor to the stress he is seeking to avoid.
If the newspaper is calling him emotionally fragile, this could lead to even more petty outbursts on the taxpayer’s dime. Perhaps it is time for Jim Dear to step down from the council, immediately.
