Another reason why Public Schools are Failing

Little Coy Mathis is a six-year-old transgender little boy, now girl, who was banned from using the girls restroom in Fountain-Fort Carson School District in Colorado.  The childs parents sued the district citing the violation of Mathis’ civil rights.

The Colorado Civil Rights Division ruled in favor of Mathis and said “she” (and I use that term loosely since Mathis still has a penis) and said the school must allow “her” to use the girls bathroom.

2UrbanGirls hopes this is challenged and taken all the way to the Supreme Court.  Since when is it ever acceptable for boys using a girls bathroom in spite of the fact the parents are allowing him to identify as a girl?  Has the LGBT community taken this too far?  Have the parents gone too far in their desire to turn their little boy into a girl?

Please, please, please give 2UrbanGirls some feedback on this…
