Black students at Cornell University want “real” Blacks recruited to the Ivy League school

Is this considered a form of racism or nah?  Cornell University’s Black Students United demanded the university start recruiting more black American students because the campus has too many African and Caribbean students.  Huh?  Shouldn’t a group called “Black Students United” unite with ALL Black students, without regard to country of origin?

City of Compton to proceed with spending Measure P funds outside of ordinance guidelines

In June 2016 city of Compton residents were asked to increase their sales tax to fix the streets (potholes).  Measure P narrowly passed and at the next regular city council meeting, on, Tuesday, October 3rd, council will vote on Item #6 to establish an “urgent response team” to address illegal dumping, graffiti and potholes.  More […]

Former L.A. Dodger, turned mayor sentenced for corruption

There is a false perception that wealth negates corruption.  Former LA Dodger turned Mayor of San Cristobal (Dominican Republic) Raul Mondesi proved that is a lie.  Mondesi was sentenced to 8 years in prison when an audit of city finances showed a $3.9 million dollar discrepancy.
