Where are the charges?

In December 2016 an employee of the city of Compton was led out of city hall in handcuffs.  According to LA County records, he was arrested at approx 8:47 a.m. and was out on bond at 10:56 a.m.  What remains mystery is why there aren’t any current charges pending against Salvador Galvan?

There’s a new Sheriff in town.  Former sheriff’s deputy Cecil Rhambo was selected as the latest city manager and has already got to work.  Allegedly to the displeasure of the mayor and city council.

South LA residents are getting fed up with the lack of leadership in Council District 8.  To add insult to injury, councilman Marqueece Harris-Dawson uses social media to pretend he is at community meetings, when he is not.

Election watch 2017 is upon us.  Local elections will take place in Compton, Gardena, Inglewood and Los Angeles.  Early endorsements have been received by local candidates and many have failed to identify a sound platform for running.
