The peculiar prosecution of a local elected official

20160912_142247Former Compton school board trustee Skyy Fisher is NOT a predator.  Fisher was described as a “predator” by San Diego Police Det. Francis Bradley to this author.  Det. Bradly played a pivotal role in the prosecution of Fisher that resulted in his being sentenced to six years in prison.  Like “Steven”, Fisher is also a victim.  Victim of a community that doesn’t accept elected officials as “gay” and thus forcing Fisher to attempt to deny, what his friends, including this author, already knew.    2 Urban Girls’ theory is had Fisher chose to come out publicly, years ago, and lead his life as an openly gay Black man, he would not have had these legal troubles.

July 2014 Skyy Fisher was arrested at his place of employment and was charged with performing oral sex on an unconscious male.  A man many perceived he was “dating”.  His arrest made the NBC Nightly News and was regularly featured in the Los Angeles Times.  NO OTHER MAN HAS COME FORWARD to accuse SKYY FISHER OF GIVING THEM UNWANTED ORAL SEX. On the other hand, Bill Cosby has had more than 50 women accuse him, across state lines.

“Steven” wanted to go out of town so he and Fisher made plans to visit San Diego on an overnight excursion.  Court records reveal they paid in excess of $300 dollars for their lodging.  After a night of heavy drinking and “Steven” stopping off to buy condoms to sleep with a hooker, they went back to their hotel room.

“Steven” claims to have awoke to Fisher “going down” on him and he jumps up and bolts from the room.

It would take a private recording between Fisher and “Steven” WITH Det. Bradley listening in, without Fisher’s knowledge, to reveal Fisher was forced to “apologize” for performing oral sex on him as “Steven” threatened him.  REPEATEDLY.  The threat laden phone call caught Fisher off guard and according to his attorney, confused Fisher into “confessing”.  DNA samples concluded multiple persons sucked on “Steven”.  According to Det. Bradley, the CA wiretapping law doesn’t apply where both parties need to be aware they are being recorded.  Det. Bradley only needed “Steven’s” permission.

California’s wiretapping law is a “two-party consent” law. California makes it a crime to record or eavesdrop on any confidential communication, including a private conversation or telephone call, without the consent of all parties to the conversation. See Cal. Penal Code § 632. The statute applies to “confidential communications” — i.e., conversations in which one of the parties has an objectively reasonable expectation that no one is listening in or overhearing the conversation. See Flanagan v. Flanagan, 41 P.3d 575, 576-77, 578-82 (Cal. 2002).  A California appellate court has ruled that this statute applies to the use of hidden video cameras to record conversations as well. See California v. Gibbons, 215 Cal. App. 3d 1204 (Cal Ct. App. 1989).

According to those familiar with the case, the victim “Steven” is a felon who has tried to secure employment with Compton Unified School District.  Due to the nature of this case, 2 Urban Girls has not been able to verify the employment of “Steven” although those familiar with the case insist he is employed with CUSD.

Fisher’s initial media counsel, lives as an openly gay black woman.  Either she had a difficult time convincing her client to “come out” or she suggested he not say a word about it.  Knowing Skyy Fisher, he refused to disclose his homosexual status.  It would have been much easier to dismiss this as a lovers quarrel, rather than a lesser degree of “rape”.

The San Diego DA’s office wasn’t forthcoming in providing discovery to the defense.  Many documents were turned over after Fisher’s conviction, which didn’t allow Fisher to have the best defense possible..

Skyy Fisher is neither a predator nor an idiot.  He did express disappointment that every Black elected official he has either campaigned with or raised money for, turned their backs on him. Not a single one wrote a letter of support. Not even those living their own untruths.

His political nemesis, Douglas Sanders, was spotted more times in the San Diego Superior Courthouse than at an accounting/investing class at USC.  Folx relished in Fisher’s downfall.

When people compare Brock Turner, to Fisher, there isn’t a comparison.  Prosecutors in both cases asked for sentences of six years.  Due to Turner’s age, he was afforded the opportunity to receive a lighter prison sentence.  The judge wanted Turner to experience life.

Fisher, is a college graduate, fraternity member and former elected official.  In the eyes of the court, Fisher lived a productive life while Turner was still young enough to put this behind him.

I wish the Black community, myself included, were more tolerable to gay Black men. Although I consider Skyy a friend, his lifestyle didn’t confuse or scare me.  He didn’t have to tell me he liked men, I just knew.  I didn’t stop being his friend because he prefers men over women, I was more angry he chose to not live his truth.  But a life in politics doesn’t afford you that pleasure.

This author has seen “Steven’s” picture and I assumed he was gay too.  If it’s the same “Steven”, who accused Skyy Fisher, then he probably wants to stop posting pictures of himself and his bongs on social media.  Especially if he works for a school district.

This blog continues to watch this case and remain in contact with all parties involved as an appeal has been filed.  Stay tuned…

He is NOT a victim, he victimizes others, now he is paying for his faults. Our community doesn’t victimize him because he is gay!!! We dont care about his sexual preference, but rather his actions as an elected official of a school district where children are being affected by the decisions this person makes based on his “experience”

Others? Plural? If there are “others” please have them come forward.

A felon isn’t allowed to be a victim or lead a life of redemption or even live a overall quality of life? Also you’re perplexed Steven “The Victim” is upset about being raped and then the poor attempt of impunity for (rapist)Skyy. People are aware of Brock Turner privileges because he’s wealthy and white,What’s next week’s headlined, “Water is wet”.

What’s your point? I don’t know what’s worst, your post or that Skyy Fisher could be a Somnophilia(c) including he has no remorse or even accepted responsibility.

I think your post is convoluted backed by anecdotal evidence lacking objectivity and professionalism. One fell swoop you presumed Black people to share your foolish and vapid opinion.

        P.S
I enjoyed the past posts,I can handle difference of opinion but not bad journalism.#smh Good luck, but I’m done with this site.
