Alex Johnson Appointed to L.A. County School Board

Alex Johnson has been nominated to the Los Angeles County school board by Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas. After receiving 47% of the vote in last week’s LAUSD special election, Johnson, 34, has accepted the nomination to succeed Rudell S. Freer, the longest serving county board member.
