Ken Dilanian is a prominent national secirity reporter and former L.A. Times reporter between April 2010 through May of this year, covering the CIA.  According to the L.A. Times, Dilanian worked in the Washington D.C. bureau.  Dilanian has also worked with the Philadelphia Inquirer and most rececntly the Associated Press.

Ken Silverstein of The Intercept is revealing Dilanian worked closely with the CIA, sending him his articles for approval, prior to them being published in the L.A. Times.  Dilanian would also change his articles to appease the CIA.  Dilanian was instrumental in publishing positive articles on the use of drones, of which the LAPD just took possession of two from Seattle Police Department.

How can readers of the L.A. Times be sure that other reporters aren’t engaged in the same practice?
