The City of Compton residents are extremely pissed about the conditions of the surface streets throughout the city. Every meeting they complain to the council regarding the outrageous number of potholes that litter the streets.

The National Association for Equal Justice In America (NAEJA) held a candidates forum on May 23rd in City of Compton Council Chambers.  For the event to be held on a Thursday evening, it was a standing room only event.

A Decade of Decline: Bishop Johnny Young failed on his promise

Bishop Johnny Young is the longest sitting board member for Inglewood USD.  He followed Arnold Butler as the newly installed board president back in August 2011.  In his own words he had a vision to turn around the district and restore enrollment over the 17k mark.
