Public Safety not addressed in the City of Inglewood’s official newspaper

indexThe biggest news in Inglewood, CA for the month of October, was mysteriously omitted from the online edition of the cities official newspaper, the Inglewood Today.Justin Marquis Scott was released from jail for a crime he did not commit.  On October 8th, two women lost their lives in Inglewood, in an unsolved murder.  In a rush to arrest “someone”, they arrested Scott, the ex-boyfriend of one of the victims.

What makes the case so compelling is the fact there are four videotapes showing Scott in Compton, CA.  Inglewood Police Department, in conjunction with the L.A. County Sheriff, went to Scott’s mothers home, and confiscated her own surveillance footage, at gunpoint.

Inglewood Police Department detectives failed to follow-up on Mr. Scott’s whereabouts and refused to turn over the tape back to his mother.

How much will this cost Inglewood residents and why didn’t the newspaper discuss it?
